Our favorite thing about Farmer’s Markets around here is the roadside seasonal seafood vendors that popup just outside of the entrance when they decide they want to share their bounty with hungry inlanders. Conducting commerce on the side of the road, from the trunk of a barely operable car - with no business license? Check. A 17 year old cooler with a busted handle, and questionable ice to shrimp ratio? Absolutely….and don’t forget the STRICT “cash only” policy. Oh yeah, if you want a receipt, you will need to provide the pen and paper.
